Paul bought a 50cc four-wheeler for the grandkids, but we decided to take it for a spin as well, just to make sure it was safe for them. :)

Camping in Montana, on South Boulder Mountain. We took a four-wheeler ride and hiked up the mountain and then down to get to Curly Lake. Everyone's feet were pretty sore.
Ashley, Megan, Amanda, Molly, and Mindy in Pony. Another four-wheeler ride. This one didn't involve hiking though. :)
Ashley, taking a break in Pony. Pony is known for an artist who makes large figures out of welded scrap metal. Usually the figure is a horse or pony, but this year it is a woman. She is made out of just about anything metal you can think of; bed springs, horse shoes, pliers, hubcaps, hammers, nails, screws, metal tubs... anything the artist can find.

This is the 2007 welded figure on display in Pony, Montana.
A welded pony on the hillside of Pony that is now a permanent fixture for the town. It was named after one of the gold miners who mined the area, his nickname being "Pony." See www.ponymontana.com for some neat facts about old ghost town.

To brag on Jess, he worked long and hard getting the truck ready to sell once we got back from Montana. He washed and waxed, cleaned and dusted. He advertised in several ways, and his time paid off when we were able to sell it to a family in Bountiful who will take good care of it.
I made this necklace and earring holder out of an old frame, a thin piece of ply-wood, door knobs, quilt batting, and material I found at a home fabric store. Now my dresser top is cleared off!
