Jess' mom came out to visit us Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. We spent some time seeing some of the things close by that we have wanted to see during our time here. First we went down to Churchhill downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby. The horse racing season is finished for the season, but we went on some of the "Behind the scenes" tours, which are really neat. There is a whole lot to learn about horse racing in Louisville.
Churchill Downs just completed a new museum last year and was really fun to explore.
