Bryce--November '09

His favorite toy for the time being--the computer cord.

Rolling around

One day I checked on Bryce after putting him down for a nap. This is how I found him--his little hand on the crib rail.

My boys

Bath time in the sink.

Loves his veggies!

Trunk-or-Treating

Our ward had an annual trunk-or-treat a couple weekends ago with prizes for decorated trunks, costumes, and chili. This is the frog in the pond and I was the frog princess. Bryce had a big red kiss mark on his forehead that he wiped off.

Getting into the candy.

Cutest froggie ever!

Highchair

I found this highchair for Bryce on Craig's List. I think he likes it.

Photo shoot

A friend in our ward helped me take some shots of Bryce.

Hair

Yes, it's coming!

Happy Birthday Jess!

I love my boys!

An official Cincinnati Bearcats birthday cake. But it didn't always look this pretty...

The icing bag broke on the cake!

Bryce was intrigued by the candles of course.

Making his wishes

Bryce's favorite part of the festivities (even better than the candles, because he could play with this...)

Our Real Apartment

A while back I posted pictures of our apartment, but posted the outside of another house similar to ours. This is what the outside of our apartment really looks like, and ours is on the second and third floors.

Our street. Our apartment is in the third house on the left, behind the telephone pole.

Kind of holding his own bottle

Mom, now you can see how big he is compared with something familiar.

This is what he does when watching a football game with Daddy!

Walking to Kentucky

A few weeks ago, when Jess got home from school he asked, "So, what did you do today?" "We walked to Kentucky!" was my reply. How does that work, you might ask? Below is what is known as the Purple People Bridge. It connects downtown Cincinnati with downtown Newport, Kentucky. The bridge was originally built in 1872 as Cincinnati's first railroad bridge to cross the Ohio River. In 2001, it was converted to a pedestrian only bridge, and that is how we walked to Kentucky. (Info from Wikipedia).

Cincinnati side

By "we" I mean Bryce, and a gal and her daughter from our ward, and I. It has been wonderful to have someone to go do things with while both of our husbands are very busy in school.

Newport side

In Newport we found a neat park with a huge memorial bell and this patch of fun grass. We practiced taking some pictures of the babies. Christy, a photographer, helped me with some ideas.
