Bryce's Latest

Caught his sippy cup just in time!

Demolishing the pantry.

Jungle gym in the kitchen?

Love those big brown eyes.

Pre-Bathtime Activities

Staying warm being swaddled. It is crazy to think this is how I wrapped him up for the first 3 months of his life. He tolerated it a little better back then.
Broke free from the blanket!

4 7/8"

Why do I think it is hilarious that Bryce squeezes himself through this small opening between the piano leg and main part of the piano, which I just measured as 4 and 7/8's inches wide? I wonder how many centimeters that is? He always gets his head through fine, but then his hips get stuck.

Happy B-Day/V-Day

I had a great birthday! We had awesome Chicago-style pizza at a new restaurant in town and it was pretty comparable to the real stuff. Jess spoiled me with too many goodies and Bryce was a good boy the whole day. :) (He's always a good boy).

For Valentine's day, I made a salad with everything cut into heart shapes. :)

Photo shoot

A friend in our ward, a photographer, took some great pictures of Bryce and I. Go to http://preciousmoments-christy.blogspot.com/ to view.

Socks for Dinner

With three teeth now, Bryce enjoys chewing on many things, including his socks. His new trick is tearing his toys to shreds... and then eating the pieces. His favorites are foam and fake hair. So far I haven't found anything in his diaper... yet.

2 Weeks Left!

I almost thought this day would never come. Two years and two months later (well, at the end of this month), I will be finished with my master's in nursing education! Yes, finished! YAY!

Caught!

Bryce doesn't like the laundry basket...

but he does like the big sink at Nana and Papa's.

Caught in the gatorade box...

and in the curtains...

and between the piano and bench.

Caught a rodent of unusual size in our Catchmaster. Usually we only catch crickets and spiders, but got a bigger creature this time. I had it as far under the TV as I could get it, and far out of Bryce's reach, I thought. He pulled it out with one hand stuck to it, then tried to get the first hand unstuck by putting the second on to pry it off!

Crawled into his dresser drawer on his own while playing in his room.

Christmas Festivities in Idaho

Bryce's first Christmas!
We had a very nice holiday with our families in Idaho.

While we were in Idaho, Bryce learned to crawl--this is right before he became mobile. Those were the days!

Tearing apart a pancake! That's mommy's boy!

"Helping" Nana set up the Christmas tree.

Helping Nana

With his Great, Great-Grandma Layne a few days before Christmas.

Opening his first present...

with help from his aunts Claire and Ashley.

The donkey in the Christmas Eve play

Excited to check out what all the chaos is about Christmas morning

Santa came through--he brought lots of wrapping paper and packaging! Along with a Bryce-size tractor, clothes, toys, etc. Thanks Santa!

Being cute Christmas day

"Helping" Nana take down the Christmas tree...

and the snowmen.

Bowling the day after Christmas.

Cousins

Bryce and Landon, my sister-in-law's baby--five months apart.

Bryce and Woodson, my sister's baby, are about 5 months apart.

Notice how Bryce's arm is linked around Woodson's.

Bryce didn't like this too well. After a couple of scoots, he would lay down flat on his stomach. At the time of this picture, Bryce was only a couple of pounds heavier than Woodson.
