Misc. Catch Up Post

If you know Jess, you know that he LOVES pepper and cannot eat anything without a healthy dose of black stuff sprinkled on top. As the saying goes--like father, like son.

Cheesing it from his John Deere dump truck

Bryce also loves dipping anything into any type of sauce (ketchup, ranch, and in this case, cheese ball), licking the sauce off the item, and dipping it right back in again.

At a place called EnterTRAINment Junction--a kid-obsessed-with-train's dream come true!
Bryce loved it!

Happy Birthday Momma!

My boys spoiled me by trying out a new Mexican restaurant, some time at the mall, and an ice cream cake. I had a fantastic birthday!

Spring, when are you coming?

Bryce and I are ready for Spring to hurry and get here! Doesn't this daffodil just make you smile in anticipation of warm weather?

Bottle Tales

Last week I explained to Bryce that he is old enough now to not need a bottle. He was fine with it. He went to bed after drinking milk from a sippy cup. I was elated! Yay! No more bottle! At 3:30 a.m., with a sick child wanting a bottle, I gave in. We will try again when he is well. Until then, bring on those 8 oz. of comfort!

Just Woke Up

Warning: Lots of pictures of Bryce to follow.
Isn't he such a sweet little guy? I love the look in his face when he just wakes up!

 Still waking up

Awake and ready to cheese it!

Showing off his scarred chin (from the playground...)

 Love this face!

And this one too!

Merry Christmas

We had a really nice Christmas. We bounced back and forth between our families in Idaho during the time we were there. It flew by and we were headed back to Cincy in no time. We were busy and did a lot of things--Bryce had his first tractor ride with Papa, and first snowmobile ride with Jess, we went skiing/snowboarding, swimming, to the temple, went to my cousin's mission report (he just returned from India), bowling, movies, out to eat, and spent lots of time catching up with family. It was wonderful!

Christmas morning at the Field's

Bryce and Woodson play well together. They take turns being the bully... :)

Bryce's favorite toy at my parents' house is the cordless phone. I think he was calling Santa to tell him thank you!

Pre-Christmas Activities

We brought up the spare artificial tree from the basement, vacuumed the spiders from it, and decorated the top half. Viola! Bryce-proof Christmas tree...
We were able to go to the Krohn Conservatory a couple of times. It is nice to feel like you are in a tropical area of the world for a little while. They have a tree made of poinsettias, two trains (Bryce's favorite part), a huge 20' tree decorated with handmade natural ornaments, and a nativity scene with live animals. Pretty cool!

Notice the poinsettia tree in the background. So beautiful!

 Merry Christmas!!!

Being Silly

Happy Thanksgiving!

We got ourselves a "real" turkey! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Projects

We got a couple of dressers for free back in Provo, but I wasn't too fond of them. With a little paint and new pulls, voila! Much better. "New" dresser for the B-ryce. The one above I actually painted blue, the one below was the smaller of the two, now green!
